How to use
Mix with spring or purified water as tap water contains metals. Always mix using plastic, glass, silicone or wooden spoons and bowls because metal will activate the clay. Apply to hair no more than once a week and for skin, no more than twice a week.
Hair & scalp detox:
- Mix 1 part water to 2 parts bentonite clay, you'll have a thick paste
- Optionally, you can add a few drops of tea tree oil for its antimicrobial & antiseptic properties, removing dead skin cells from the scalp & increasing oxygen & nutrients to the hair follicles
- Apply the clay mix to wet or dry hair in sections
- Leave on for up to 30 minutes then rinse out thoroughly
- Moisturise and style your hair as normal or follow up with a deep conditioner
Face mask:
- Mix with water until you get your desired paste consistency
- Apply to clean skin avoiding the eye area
- Rinse off with warm water before the mask fully dries
- Pat the skin dry then follow up with a serum and/or a moisturiser
Note: Store in cool, dry area away from sunlight and heat. Do not allow any water or moisture into the bag.
